We pride ourselves on not only working with outstandingly skilled individuals, but people with great personalities and an unparalleled work ethic. Are you the next amazing addition to our freelance team? It doesn’t matter whether you’re a scenic carpenter, puppet specialist, costume maker, general prop maker, or something in between. If you’ve got the passion for creation in your heart and a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you.
For those of you who are new to the industry, you’ll be happy to know we can also accept flexible work placements for the right applicants. We’re proud to support the next generation of talented prop makers, so don’t hesitate to get in touch! We also provide guest lectures on how to get hired, workshop practice, and specialist industry skills, so feel free to pass our details on to your lecturer if you would like to hear more.
Due to a very high number of applicants, we now have strict requirements for submissions. Please ensure that your application contains the following:
A cover letter in the main body of your email. We take the time to respectfully respond to you as an individual, so please do not send generic copy-and-paste cover letters. Please include your experience level, relevant skills, and how you heard about us.
A full CV including two up-to-date references as a Word or PDF attachment, with your full name in the title.
A portfolio with up-to-date making-of photographs, as a PDF attachment, with your full name in the title. Please do not send links to websites, photographs as individual attachments, or content that isn’t relevant to what we do.
We’ll always try to respond as quickly as possible, but as our entire team is comprised of makers, there may be delays in our responses during busy periods. Please ensure to keep an eye on your spam folder, as our replies sometimes end up there if you’ve not added us as a safe sender.
