Birdcage Set Piece – Mika Apocalypse Calypso Tour 2024

We crafted a 4-meter-high gilded birdcage for Mika’s 2024 tour. The custom-welded structure was designed to stand as a complete set piece or as two independent halves, breaking down into tour carts for quick assembly. Engineered to safely support a performer, rigged from the central hub, the cage was certified as a bespoke piece of performer flying equipment.
The piece was brought to life with a mapped LED surface and mounted on a custom-wrapped rolling riser for dynamic staging.
